Neuro-psychoanalysis

I have been researching neuro-psychoanalysis based on the study of neuroscience and the emotions. So far, I have been concentrating on seven principal emotions some of which conflict with each other. Here are the seven basic emotions which have been named by neuroscientist Jaak Panksepp and correlated by Professor Solms: Seeking; Panic/Grief in conflict with Rage as in a baby crying for the breast; Lust or Erotic Desire; Fear in conflict with Rage and also with Panic/Grief which forms the super-ego when the child rages against the parents but is afraid of them and consequently feels guilty, yet later, makes up for guilt through grief; and finally Care and Play. Professor Solms notes that guilt is the result of rage turned inwards whereas paranoia results in a destructive impulse from internalised dangers which do not have any objective external correlatives. I should add that the internalised rage of actively seeking explanations to natural phenomena has led us to the creation of empirical scientific knowledge.
